More than 50% of home buyers cry during the home buying process.
Let that sink in…
According to a Zillow Survey, 61% of Gen Z’ers shed tears at least once throughout the process, while 63% of millennials (aged 26 – 41yrs) breakdown and cry. Pretty staggering numbers.
This has certainly been elevated the past 2-3 years with a hyper competitive market. During 2020 and 2021 it was often the norm to submit an offer alongside 20 other buyers who want the house.
$150,000 over asking price? Normal…
Losing to a cash buyer. Another buyer waiving their inspection rights. Lines around the block for an open house? All considered normal the past two years.
Buying a home can be a highly emotional ride and the recent market conditions have amplified this.Luckily we’re in the midst of a cooling market.
Yes, some tears may still be shed from time to time, but hopefully some of those are tears of happiness in the end.
Being guided by an experienced Real Estate Agent is essential for your success.
The crazy thing is that most people who use an inexperienced agent don’t really know it. They just feel the frustration. The emotional highs and lows.
But maybe this is how it’s supposed to be they think…
I’m not saying that working with a good agent will eliminate the stress, but it will always be the best option to help guide you to a smoother, and hopefully quicker home purchase.
