Ever heard someone say “I would never use anyone else”? That’s like the ultimate sign of loyalty, right?!
She created trust, comfort, and delivered such a high level of service that it had me calling her and her company back time and time again for their service.
I still use this Termite Company today…but the strange thing is that she doesn’t even work there anymore. She hasn’t worked there in a couple years.
It really didn’t matter to me though. She’d instilled 100% confidence in me that the company she worked for would always be there and consistently deliver great results.
A few days ago, I sat back and considered the residual effect this employee had on the company. The amount of money they’d made from the business I gave them, even years after she left.
The fact that I didn’t even want to call another company to test them out…
Pretty powerful stuff right?
Someone like her will be fantastic wherever she works. I think it’s because she understood she was in the ‘business of people’…and just happened to work for that Termite Company.
Engaging with people like this and experiencing the lasting effects has me diving deeper into what customer service really is. It pushes me to be better every day…and I’m thankful for that.
