When most people are in a time of constriction, cutting back on their expenses, and generally not looking to make a move, this can be the time to make your move.
Kind of like a soccer game when all the other players aren’t paying attention, but the coaches (and even the referee) are telling you to shoot.
The coaches could be the interest rates under 3%. The referee might be the money you’ve be saving for down payment. Heck, maybe there are even some cheerleaders screaming ‘long term appreciation’ on the sidelines.
When everyone is doing one thing, I’ll typically look at what the few are doing. When other Realtors are spending thousands of dollars a month on Facebook advertising or Google Adwords, I’ll reach out to my local community via phone to see how I can help. (Yes I’m still sad that I won’t be door knocking for a long, long time!)
Although what’s going on right now and the change in our daily lives is unfortunate, I will always encourage everyone around me to step back and see how they can take advantage of these changes.
